About Us

Rise & Revive After Breast Cancer CIC is a UK Community Interest Company dedicated to supporting people affected by breast cancer through community events, wellbeing activities, education and peer support.

Website Use

The information provided on this website is intended for general information only. Whilst we make every effort to keep information accurate and up to date, we cannot guarantee that all content will always be complete, current or error-free.

Event Bookings

Places on our events are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Your booking is only confirmed once we have received payment or, where applicable, a deposit.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel bookings where necessary.

Warrior Weekend Bookings

Warrior Weekend is designed to provide a safe, supportive and inclusive experience for everyone attending.

Deposits

Where a deposit is required, it secures your place on the event.

Unless otherwise stated at the time of booking, all deposits are non-refundable.

Cancellation by Participants

If you need to cancel your place:

• If you cancel more than 8 weeks before the event, any balance paid (excluding the non-refundable deposit) may be refunded where possible.

• If you cancel within 8 weeks of the event, refunds cannot normally be offered, as accommodation, activities and suppliers will already have been booked.

If we are able to fill your place from a waiting list, we may, at our discretion, offer a partial refund.

Cancellation by Rise & Revive

If we need to cancel Warrior Weekend due to circumstances beyond our control, participants will receive either:

• A full refund of payments made, or

• The option to transfer their booking to a future event.

Rise & Revive After Breast Cancer CIC cannot accept responsibility for travel costs, accommodation booked independently, loss of earnings or any other indirect expenses.

Health & Wellbeing

Participants are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to attend our events.

Some activities may involve light physical exercise such as walking, paddleboarding, yoga or other wellbeing activities.

By attending, participants acknowledge they take part voluntarily and accept responsibility for their own health and wellbeing.

If you have any concerns about participating, we recommend discussing them with your healthcare professional before attending.

Liability

Your safety and wellbeing are important to us, and we will always do our best to provide a safe, welcoming and supportive environment throughout our events.

We kindly ask all participants to take responsibility for their own health and wellbeing, ensuring they only take part in activities they feel comfortable and medically able to participate in.

Participants are also responsible for looking after their own personal belongings. Whilst we take every reasonable care, Rise & Revive After Breast Cancer CIC cannot accept responsibility for the loss, theft or damage of personal possessions.

Occasionally, events or activities may need to be changed, postponed or cancelled due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. If this happens, we will always do our best to communicate any changes as soon as possible.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes any liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded under UK law.

Photography & Media

Photographs and videos may be taken during our events for promotional purposes.

We will always respect the wishes of anyone who does not wish to appear in photographs or video. Please let a member of our team know before or during the event.

Separate consent will always be obtained before sharing personal stories, interviews or testimonials.

Respect for Others

Rise & Revive exists to create a welcoming, safe and supportive environment for everyone.

We reserve the right to ask anyone whose behaviour is abusive, discriminatory, intimidating or disruptive to leave an event without refund.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all content on this website, including logos, branding, photographs and written material, remains the property of Rise & Revive After Breast Cancer CIC and may not be copied, reproduced or used without prior written permission.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page.

Medical Information

All Warrior Weekend participants are required to complete our online Medical Information & Participant Declaration Form before attending the event. This helps us understand any relevant medical conditions, allergies, emergency contact details or accessibility requirements, so we can provide a safe and supportive experience for everyone.

Medical Form must be completed before attending a warrior weekend event.

By attending Warrior Weekend, you confirm that the information you have provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you accept responsibility for informing us of any changes to your health or circumstances before the event.
